The public kick-off event of the FID BAUdigital – the specialised information service (FID) for the fields of civil engineering, architecture and urban studies – on 2 March 2020 was a success with 200 participants. The statements of the scientific advisory board and the presentation of the first use cases made the heterogeneity and complexity of construction clear. The participants used the opportunity to address their needs to the FID BAUdigital.
Take part: Online survey on the topic of “Open Access and Research Data”
The kick-off event also drew attention to the planned community survey on “Open Access and Research Data”, which has now been launched. The survey is primarily aimed at researchers in the disciplines of civil engineering, architecture and urban studies, but also representatives from academia and industry are invited to participate. The aim of the survey is to determine, on a needs-oriented basis, which services and information offers are important for the subject community.
Answering the questionnaire takes about ten to 15 minutes and is anonymous. Participation is possible from now until 30 April 2021.
