A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
We offer a selection of information, tools and events - including our DATA TALKS event series - to connect you with networks and colleagues, and our interactive research atlas for finding expertise and networks.
DATA TALKS stands for a series of events in which researchers give topic-specific insights into their work and discuss the developments and offers of the FID BAUdigital. These are regularly developed and organised in cooperation with researchers and partner institutions. The events are recorded and made freely available in the AV-Portal.
Interdisciplinary cooperation is becoming increasingly important. The Research Atlas makes it easier to find researchers both within one’s own discipline and across disciplines. We promote networking within the community by documenting, linking and making searchable information on research projects, actors and research topics.
The research atlas is under development and can currently only be used for testing purposes.
We offer a Mastodon server to the researchers from our subject communities and invite you to "toot" with us, exchange news and discuss. Together with researchers from civil engineering, architecture and urbanism, we want to establish a social media service for professional communication and networking. The FID itself can be found at @fidbau.
You can read more about the genesis and the idea behind it in the Blog-Post by our project partner TIB!
